About the team
- You will join the R3 Digital Currency Product Management team to build a new Digital Currency platform that will be at the heart of the next generation of financial systems. Â
- We are a small team of product managers and UX designers tasked with making R3 the market leader in Digital Currency solutions.Â
- This is an exciting time in the digital currency space, as regulated institutions in both the public and private sectors are starting to move from proof of concept and trialling to building live digital currency ecosystems.Â
What You’ll Be Doing
- Engage with central banks, licensed financial institutions, merchant acquirers and large corporatesÂ
- Lead deep discovery to understand user personas and pain pointsÂ
- Translate discovery insights into actionable requirements and elegant product experiencesÂ
- Prioritise effectively amid competing objectives and platform dependenciesÂ
- Define and drive your product roadmap in close collaboration with EngineeringÂ
- Own the end-to-end success of your workstream and ensure it aligns with the Digital Currencies visionÂ
What You’ll Need
- 8+ years of product management experience in payments, fintech or enterprise SaaSÂ
- Proven ability to create product roadmaps, prioritise effectively and deliver to tight timelinesÂ
- Ability to align C-suite stakeholders and engineers through clear communicationÂ
- Deep systems thinking that turns policy or technical constraints into elegant solutionsÂ
- Experience in defining and tracking OKRsÂ
- Strong awareness of risk, compliance and operational considerations in regulated environmentsÂ
- Experience delivering software in an agile environmentÂ
Nice to Have
- Experience in API-first product design and documentationÂ
- Experience working with or for merchant acquirersÂ
